- Furlong is ClutchTip's AI horse racing predictor: form-only ratings for every runner in every Australian TAB thoroughbred race, graded nightly against official results. No odds, prices or market data are model inputs — the same market-blind rule as the football codes.
- Combined record, 28 Apr–11 Aug and 2 Sep–17 Oct 2026: top pick won 588 of 2,320 races in which it started (25.3%), every race included, averaging about 9.5 starters (a random pick wins roughly 10–11%).
- Last 30 days (18 Sep–17 Oct 2026, 1,062 races, scratchings removed and the field re-ranked): top pick won 24.5%, placed 57.8%; winner in Furlong's top two 42.6%, top three 55.9%, top four 67.6% (random four would hold the winner about 45%).
- Whole-field reads over the same 1,062 races: first two home were Furlong's top two 12.6%; first three home inside its top four 20.0%; first four home were its top four 7.2%.
- Where the winner came from: Furlong's 1st pick 24.5%, 2nd 18.1%, 3rd 13.4%, 4th 11.7%, outside the top four 32.4%.

How Furlong's record compares. Most published AI racing services report a selective record (only the races they chose to tip) and several feed live odds into the model; Furlong's figures above are full inclusion and odds-free, so they are not like-for-like. For reference, as at 16 Oct 2026: Punt Legacy AI (uses live Ladbrokes odds) reports its "The one to beat" selections at 41.1% win, verified at Betfair BSP; PuntyAI (market-independent, selective "Punty's Picks") reports 52% win on 470 settled picks since 24 Aug 2026; Wintelligence (human Saturday-metro analyst) publishes its top pick first or second 43%.
